They are both horribly blood thirsty of course and it is a close choice. But I go for the Koran as it directly incites killing of non beleivers.
I am interested in your views of the enlightened

I note that some Muslims are telling me I have misunderstood the message of the Koran and to read it again. Please tell that also to Osama bin Laddin and to the millions of his admirers.

I have not read the Koran as a christian but how can you defend Osama Bin Laden and his followers for the murder of innocent people and how can some people say that non-Muslims miss understand the Koran if People are still dying because of some mad abition by Osama? Especially when the Koran Forbids it?

Simply. Do you know inside the holy Quran many times mentioned about (INJEEL = followers of christian religion's holy book, i mean the real one not old or new testament) because whatever the new or old testament was already edited by human being, there is no original one. If you doubt this you better ask first. For muslims, there are millions of believer who already memorized the holy Quran word by word. So western politicians want to change some phrases from the holy Quran which are not satisfied them to overcome muslims. No matter they agree or not the holy Quran can never be changed because Allah also lookafter the holy Quran untill the day of judgement.
Our love to prophet can never he become God. So don't be silly. It's time to accept the truth.Best of luck.

Sounds to me like you've read the koran absolutely correctly. The apologists (as in most religions today) are keen to persuade you that their religion is harmless and beneficent - until they gain sufficiont power and/or guns. Then it's a different story as the mohommedans have shown clearly in the past.
Of course, answerers like Voltage Tran.... consider that by making the answer long enough, you'll be convinced by their erudition. At least he wasted his time compiling this drivel instead of going out and blowing a train or plane up so there are some advantages. Just give it a low rating and make room for more entries.

Its all a load of complete rubbish.
To ATK: Well so many people seem to have no idea what the true message of Islam is and misquote the Koran that maybe its the message that's at fault. How else do you explain the actions of so many educated Muslims blowing up innocent people all over the world in the name of Ala. Bunch of ignorant morons the lot of them.

Good point! If they want you to read the Koran - try this link here ( but they will wish you hadn't!):
http://www.faithfreedom.org/Articles/quran_teaches.htm
It's all from authorised sources and the guy who runs the site offers $50,000 if proved wrong. It confirms your view of the Koran being, well, not exactly the cuddliest fluffiest religious tome ever written.

the wars God has approved in the bible were only against people who deserved it, like against the cananites that used to sacrify their children in the fire, something that God hated said the bible, would they not deserve destruction???
the God of the bible is love, only he is also justice there is no trace of badness in him, we come to the wrong conclusion only if we are not informed on facts.
he hates to see the suffering that has taken place that is taking place worldwide, and hates to see people suffer. that's why he gives us hope for the future but this is another story.
as for the Koran , on the other hand, give way to superstition and fear. The Apocryphal book of Tobit contains absurd passages of magic-working sorcery.

I believe that there are pros and cons to both
The Koran does not incite violence, it is just some believers who choose to take it that way
The OT is a history of a violent time and reflects that

I'd rather not have anything to do with either of them. Life's too short, best to live a good life, not hurt anyone, love those you love and enjoy the time you have here, in as much peace as others will allow.

The reason it is such a close choice is that the Quran is in fact, taken from the old testament scriptures. The same scriptures that make up the hebrew old testament and the christian old testament.
Allah, Jehovah, God they are all the same God with different names.
