Depends on the quality of the herb, and the tolerance of the smoker. Generally though, if he's spending more than 100 bucks a month, he's smoking too much, unless he's smoking up a bunch of his friends too.

A couple of factors come into play:
1. The type of weed - If it is a higher quality, then you will have to smoke less to get high.
2. How long has he been smoking? How often does he smoke? - The more frequent the use, the higher the tolerance, the more you have to smoke to get high.
3. Is he smoking it by himself? - More people = more weed being smoked.
If its chronic and he is a seasoned toker then it could last maybe 2 weeks. If your uncle is smoking out friends/family then i would say a week.
