When I make tea, I leave it on the counter in a pitcher and if it isn't all used within a week, mold will form in the bottom of the pitcher and have to be poured out. If I put it in the refrigerator, it turns cloudy.

I used to brew tea alot. But now I use Cold Brew because it never sours or gets cloudy and it takes cold water to make it. I use 5 teabags per gallon in a glass jar. Just put the bags in and hang the tags over the edge. Put the lid on it and let it "brew" until it is as dark as you like it. When you take the teabags out don't squeeze them in the jar. That will make the tea bitter. Leave it out on the counter then refridgerate it. Because it is made with cold water mine has never gotten cloudy or sour no matter how long it sits in the refrigerater. It is made by Lipton.

Are we talking iced tea or just plain old tea? If plain tea, who drinks that even after 1 day? I've never heard of that being done.
