Well... I have thought and thought and even went to a color wheel... I thought that a warm brown(like light wheat) would be great... light wheat but NOT NOT NOT where the gold comes out in the wheat color

It really depends on your style of furnishings.Modern "uptown" contemporary would call for a much different color walls than a traditional,cherry wood furnished room.Go to a paint store, pick up a Hunter Green paint chip,and check out the other colors that appeal to you.Keep in mind the style of your room. You'll find a color that will jump out at you.

Dove Gray for a cooler tone.

Camel, Beige for a more neutral traditional coloring.

Yellows, Yellow based colored will look good also.

i would do a pale mint green.
