Sports pics at night are tough. There usually just isn't enough light to use a shutter speed fast enough to capture the action.

To make things worse, using telephoto focal lengths loses even more light. Add-on lenses can get you closer to the action, but not increase light.

Using High ISO settings helps the light situation a little, but may generate "noise" in the images.

You will have to experiment a little to see if the sport you want to photograph provides enough light to get usable shots. Try to get closer to the action so you don't have to use full telephoto.

Use the Shutter Priority or Manual mode on your S2, along with higher ISO. Don't use any faster shutter speed than you have to.

You might just get something good!
