You can shampoo your hair the next day if you need to. Coloring is not like perming. With a perm you have to wait 48 hours to wash but you could wash the next day with color. To try to maintain your color as long as possible be sure to wash your hair with a shampoo for color treated hair.

Well some say 72 hours but if you get all the resadue out after you die it right away then.

I hope that you shampoo the color out, so i would say as soon as the color need shampoo out. with most color that you put on you have to shampoo out after processing time is up.
