im kind of gangster and i have all kinds of friends(gangster, prep, skater) and i want to go out with a white girl thats a prep. i dont want to lose any kind of respect from my straight up gangster friends.

you should just forget the idea of asking a prep girl out if you are a gangster type. she wouldnt be intersted in you at all...heres an idea..how about becoming a prep than ask her out. forget what the others might think of you... you are your own person!!...sounds like you really need to do some growing up...good luck with ya

If you are so concerned about what your gangster friends think, why don't you just stay with them and don't ruin the "prep" girl's reputation or life. If you ever decide to get you some decent friends you'll have a hellavu time convincing people you're worth their time!
