Easy. Put them in a brown paper bag and tomorrow they will be ready for your banana bread. You can also put an apple in with the bananas and they will ripen faster from the gases the apple sets off.

you can put them in an ordinary plastic bag then seal them by tying the opening of the plastic bag then hang them in your windows where sun can reach it. The idea is to keep the banana under sunshine and not allowing any air from the inside of the plastic bag to come out. You can use double plastic bag to ensure this. Be sure to check them in 24hrs to 48hrs. It depends on the temperature in your locality. The warmer, the shorter time it will take to ripen the banana.

yesterday I went to bake some cookies with my kids aqnd a left some bananas on the stovetop. The heat from the over ripened them instantly( 10-20 min). I did it by accident but they say that accidents are the birth of invention!

Heat and or a brown paper bag is the fastest way..only a day or so. If you want to make it NOW, then peel and mash and stick in the micro for a minute. The only real difference is that riper bananas give more flavor..and are easier to mash of course!

Put them in a brown paper bag- it traps the gas they give off that helps them ripen, also putting an apple in the bag will make them ripen even faster.

You can sit the banana in front of a window and let it ripen, try to microwave it? I havent tried it yet, but I imagine that it will soften the banana. Try to peel it first.
