Would you help bail out a close relative from jail? By close I mean a brother, sister, mother, or father. (Without knowing the details)

I agree with Danni if they go in once or twice then yes bail them out but if it keeps happening over and over agian no they do it for a reason they are the only ones that put themselves in there they can take themselves out too. So thats what i would do and have done.

Well, my father was put in jail many of a times but I knew that he deserved it.....but yet we bailed him out anyways. But finally we let him try and make it on his own and it was the best thing we ever done for him.

If you don't know what happened and don't think they are in the fault and have never acted like this or gotten in trouble before then I see no problem in bailing them out. But if it happens again then leave them in there.

It would truly depend on what they did. But even if you do not decide to bail them out. (*as I probably would not), you can still show them support by visiting, writing letters, and sending them a small amount of money for commissary. And remember you don't stop loving them just because you do not bail them out. People have to take responsibility for their own actions.

The details would depend on whether or not I wanted for them to be released. If they truly had lost their minds and gone psychokiller. It'd be a bad idea to have them released. (speaking that you were the only one who knew they were truly gone psychokiller and that they were in jail for a misdemeanor) But if it was something small and insignificant I would get them out.

well id first want to know what they are in there for... if they are in there for stealing id probably leave them in there for a few hours before bailing them out.... or if they are in there for something more serious id probably leave them in there for a day

Depends on who it is, and why they're there. If they had an outstanding ticket they didnt pay,, probably. if they were selling drugs, or killed someone (and i'm reasonably sure the charges are real--and you would know) probably not.
