eat when you are hungry. You could always get up earlier, so that when "breakfast" time rolls around you might be hungry. Don't try to make yourself hungry cause you might end up putting on weight.

I have the same problem. Sometimes i won't eat until 12 am or 1pm.
So what I do is that I eat a little something like a small bowl of cereal. This way I will have enough energy to start my day. Even though you and I may not have much of an appetite in the morrining, breakfast is still a very important part of our diet.

I'd start really small if I were you...say a glass of warm chocolate milk (warm is easier on an empty tummy) and a piece of dry toast (whole grain is best).
When your stomach has gotten used to having this every morning, you might try substituting a bran or oat or carrot muffin.
Then if you find you could still eat something more, add a piece of fruit. Nothing acidic like orange or pineapple, but a banana is kind on the stomach.
You really need to eat a healthy breakfast every day, because this is the fuel your body will use for the rest of the morning until lunch. Going without is going to leave you tired and lethargic.

You may want to try a piece of fruit or a small muffin. Sometimes I dont get an appetite till about 10 or 11am, then I will eat something small because I know that lunch is in an hour.

i try to make sure i dont eat late the night before. ive noticed i have more of an appetite the next morning if my body has had more time between meals. if i dont i have the same problem, no appetite and then later im starving. try yogurt or fruits to start out, or a small bowl of cereal. that always seems to help me.

I have (had, actually) this exact problem, too. The trick is to drink a glass of water FIRST thing in the morning (I fill a bottle and put it next to my bed every night). Even before you get out of bed. It will activate your stomach (hello, sleepyhead!) without making you sick on unwanted food. I get hungry much earlier that way.
Good breakfast ideas- definitely orange juice, even if you don't have anything else. Bananas are good brain food. Eat something you like, as long as it's not heavy (like ham or bacon).

Get yourself some vitamins and don't worry about eating. Be happy with the absence of the appetite for one day down the road you could get too big for your britches! Keeping weight off as you age is not easy for alot so just take a good vitamin !

Try drinking juice. I have the same problem and sometimes feel horribly nauseous in the morning. If I drink juice, it settles my stomach and increases my appetite so a little while later I can have a muffin or some fruit.

I can't eat first thing either. You digestive system may be sluggish in the morning.
Try some yogurt or a fruit smoothie.
I put some fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) in a blender with a banana, some OJ and same vanilla yogurt. Its easy to sip and really refreshing. Its great for a little extra energy in the morning.

I can't eat in the morning, either. When I did try, I just ended up getting sick so I just wait now until 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.
