MY NIECE IS 15 YRS OLD AND IS DOING A LOT OF BAD THINGS. ALTHOUGH I DID ALOT OF THE SAME THINGS IT HASN'T ENDED WELL FOR ME. AND I REALLY WANT TO HELP HER I JUST DONT KNOW HOW.I 'VE TAKEN HER OUT , SPENT TIME WITh HER EVEN TALKED TO HER BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP . WHAT SHOULD I DO?HOW CAN I LET HER KNOW HOW MUCH SHE MEANS TO ME AND HOW MUCH SHES SCARING ME?

She's a teenager. Unfortunately at this age they think they know everything. (you can't tell them different.) I think you are doing a great job so far. Just always let her know that you are there for her. They have to learn their own lessons.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things - kudos to you. The only behaviors you can change are your own. I know you want to help her, but you have all ready done the most important thing: she knows you love her and are always there for her. The only other suggestion I have is to ask her if she would see a counselor WITH you to talk about how much you fear for her. Good luck, dear, and keep up the good work!

15 put her on birthcontrol. and hope she doesnt get pregnant my cousin was 14 and got pregnant. tell her all about the things you did maybe imbellish things alittle. take her to an aa meating if shes drinking thats always a sobering experience,be her friend

unfortunately NObody learns from others experiences... she will get hurt, will make mistakes (big ones) and she will be back to you eventually to ask for either help, relief or an accomplice.
Then It might be your turn to say "I told you so" but usually it's too late for fixings....
Let her grow, she has to do it by herself with all the pain that implies, we all did, YOU did.
Now she is lucky to have you, that's for sure!!!!

Some teens are thicker than others, just be there for her when she screws up.
