A long distance relationship can work when two people trust themselves and the other party. If you are sure about what you want and this person is it, then you are not interested in anyone else and vise versa. Now if you and this other person are not serious about your relationship, or each other, then chances are on those lonely days and nites, the loneliness may cause you to reach out to others in a way that compromises your current or steady relationship. Evaluate what you want and get a firm understanding of what your significant other wants and go from there. Good Luck!!

Yes, i think that long distance relationships work b/c my parents met over internet dating and they dated for 1 year. My mom lived in asia & my dad lived here in the USA. & they have been married for 18 yrs. so i totaly think long distance is ok. & the good thing about long distance is if you guys break up, then you dont have to watch him be with another girl! you can just push him aside since he lives somewhere else! but i hope that never happens!

I really dont think the long distance relationship really works one of my best friend is going out with a guy andd hes long distance away. you will never trust each other you will htink that one or the other is cheating on you it really sucks because my friend and her boyfriend has been breaking up and going out for a long time it really dont work out. but i think if you truely loved that person i guess it would work out.

Mine never worked out for me, they always seem to just end. The love falls off over time. Mostly on the womens side, simply because women feel more in the present time, and men feel and remember the times they had together, which would keep some men wanting you more.
Good luck.

Wel it depends on how long you will be apart, if you will be apart your whole life, it just won't work out. But if it's just sometimes, then chat with your love untill he gets back.
