what would happen if somebody popped it the opisite side i was just wondering the other day lol

Not much. If the popcorn kernels aren't on the cooking surface i can't imagine they would cook bacause the part that transfers the heat is above the kernals instead of putting the heat through them.

There is a possiblility that you could damage your microwave. In each bag of popcorn there is a small piece of foil, the same width as the bag and the length reaches from fold to fold. When you place the bag in the microwave properly the foil is on the bottom and reflects the microwave back up into the popcorn. Place the foil side up and the microwaves are defletected back towards the device that emits the microwaves and can possibly overload it and burn it out.

You would burn the popcorn. The side with the flaps needs to be up.

Never ..ever do it!..the world as we know it would end. along with the fact that the popcorn police would drag you out of the house screaming..and while they was there..the pillow/mattress..police would check it see if you removed the tags...in any event...its bad

it would burn, it would have no way to expand because the flaps would not be able to pop up on it.
