No it is NOT wrong. The rape thing is if you are younger than 18.

Look at most married people. Almost all are about 5 years appart :)

When i was 21 i dated someone that was 26 and he turned out to be the absolutely wrong person for me because he was hip to the game (player) and i wasn't. That turned out to be the worst relationship i was ever in because: 1)We were not on the same level 2)he was not honest about his intentions 3) I was very naive

I could go on, but i think you should keep the company of people that have the same goals and focus as you so that way in desperate times you'll have people or even that special someone that can relate to you.

Do the right thing.

If you are equally mature, I think it is okay. The hang-up with dating older partners is they tend to try to be the boss (like a parent). Then, when you are about 30, you rebell and there is trouble in the relationship. Another thing to consider, if you marry this person, men die on the average 7 years earlier than women. So, if you don't want to be left alone for about 7 years in your old age, find someone within this range.

I dated a 21yr old when I was 26. As long as you can enjoy each others company then there is nothing wrong.

I wouldn't see a 23yr old now that I am 28 as I think that there is a lot of growing up to be done 25+

No way, it's not wrong. At that point 5 years doesn't make a difference, and plus everyone knows girls mature faster that guys. So just about now he's getting up to your level. So go out and have fun maybe YOU could teach him a thing or two. Good luck!

ehh kinda only because the 25 year old can go to a bar and find people over 21 to hang out with. but if you both like each other nothing really wrong with it

Not at all. When I was twenty, the guy I dated was 33. We spent a beautiful 14 years together, until I lost him to throat cancer last year.
Follow your heart. Age is truly just a number.

If YOU are the 20 yr old, in question, than YES! Because you're obviously not mature enough, to be with a 25 yr old, if you are asking this question....

No. Age wouldn't be a reason for it to be "wrong". His intentions or your intentions and how you two conduct yourselves, are some things that can make it "wrong." But, what ever brings you true happiness, love, and peace. Do It. Don't sweat the age. Unless of course you're like.... 10yrs or something like that.
