You should wait at least 2 weeks to insert anything into your vagina that includes penises and tampons. Don't go swimming or take a bath. Your cervix is still a bit dialated so the risk of infection is there. If you decide to go to your post-abortion check up usually 2 weeks after the procedure, your doctor will tell you it's okay to have sex.

I don't know, but ask your doctor. I understand it may not be simple as that only though. You can't ask over phone these days. I'd say when the pain goes away. I wouldn't try too soon. Though I can't give a definite and think unwell to give an estimate, I just want to say rushing in right after your 'due date' is up is probably not the best of an idea. -nc
And second of all... is that really smart? Why did you get abortion in the first place? Could it be the cause again?

You doctor should inform you of that. Im going to assume four weeks. Instead of an abortion try abstinence.
