"I'll say a prayer for you from Heaven when you are in Hell. "
statements like this are 10x more effective at killing interest in xianity as someones stance on evolution... Thanks

Most Christians objection to evolution is not the science, but the philosophy or "religious" aspect of it. Almost every posting on this site by the pro-evolution group (who must be just as cowardly and ignorant as the creationist because they post here to) is of the "evolution proves the Bible is false and there is no God".
Evolution is not yet a completely understood science. They are changing the "facts" almost daily. When Jurassic Park came out, the Velocity Raptors were mini-t-rexs with scales. Now just a few years later, they are pre-birds with feathers on their heads. What will they be five years from now? Nobody knows.
How many "missing links" have they found only to then place them as offshots that died out without producing humans. How many species have the juggled around the evoltionary tree? Too many.
So on the basis of an inexact scientific theory with dozens of alternatives theories, contradictions amoung leading scientist, down right frauds that have been pulled over the years, we are to abandon a faith which has withstood every challenge for thousands of years. I think not.
If you want to debate the science, by all means go to the science section. But when you are raising questions about the spiritual implications of evolution, that a religion and spiritual format seems a good place to discuss it.

There is ABSOLUTELY no fact in the "theory" of evolution. What a ridiculous concept!
Someone show me one complete skeleton (note the word complete...not bone fragments) of one of the evolutionary creatures between an ape and a man and I'll believe on the spot.
Think about this: Scientists have found thousands of fully formed dinosaur skeletons, but no one has ever found a definitive "missing link" ape-human skeletal remain.
Come on people, if this "theory" were true, there'd be hundreds if not thousands of ape-human skeletons in their many evolutionary states. You know why there's not? Because evolution is just some guys guess as to how we got here....and a mighty lame guess at that.
Humans were ALWAYS human.

Oh they do attack it on the biology and zoology, as well as the anthropology boards. They are told to go to the religion section as faith has nothing to do with science. (but there are some good answers - not that it makes any difference)
If you don't know what a biology board is - go to the home page, then the Science and Mathematics section and biology and zoology are subsections there. .

Because many non believers on here believe in evolution, and they say they'll never accept anything without proof. Therefore, if they accept evolution as truth they're supposed to be very knowledgeable about it, right???
Also, many non believers on here claim to be intellectually superior than believers, so answering a simple question about evolution should be easy for them, right??

Those who attack it post here rather than biology do so because they erroneously assume that those who agree with the facts of evolution are practicing a religion. Perhaps the encyclopedia britannica would help with those definitions and they would post under science where the debate belongs.

Here's one for you. If we evolved from monkeys, why did we lose thier physical strength? Isn't the exact opposite of evolution? I mean we may believe we are the most intelligent of beings on earth. But what about an elephant or a whale? We may have command over elephants, but it is nothing but the boastfull nature of mankind that has us believing(a belief is not a fact) we are more intelligent. What we do to them, we do to ourselves. As mankind on a whole.

Blame Augustine for all this trouble. He chose Platonic beliefs over Aristotle and stated that although science is not intrinsically bad, it can lead a Christian away from salvation.
He is also the one who had self-loathing and determined that no Christian will ever be good enough.

Creation is more evidenced in science than Evolution is, yet Evolutionists choose to ignore these facts & evidences simply in order to attack Christian beliefs.
That's what's being attacked, BTW, our RELIGIOUS beliefs.
"If it got here, it evolved!"

I'd love to attack it on any where but I don't even know what a biology board is. Frankly, there is no point in arguing evolution with anyone remotely scientific as I don't believe any of them are capable of faith. I'll say a prayer for you from Heaven when you are in Hell.
