i heard african americans r 99% baptist/christian.is that true?
who knows about blak ppls (all over the world) wat religion they hav?
(im muslim Turkish Girl,my african american bf is baptist he want to become muslim, WHO can help?)
christianity is the religon of white man who made blak man slaves! so, many christian blak convert to Islam(as like MalcomX, MuhammadAli etc..)
in africa, native africans surename is NOT english and they all r muslim.

ok i overdid wit asking if it the blaks r 99% Baptist in USA,but THATS wat my bf told me.
BUT in TURKEY, WE are really 99%muslim. as like Pakistan is 99,5% is muslim also.
im curious about WAT is blaks religon. i want to meet blak muslim!!!!!!

I think religion is not organization. It is the process of the self to dissolve its selfishness. Religion is understanding what is false as false. A religious mind is living in harmony not in divisiveness. A religious mind has no race or color, he doesn't belong to any group or organization. A religious mind is intelligent, beautiful and peaceful.

my friend who is African American is Jehovah. but asking this question is like asking what religion are Caucasians? there are so many people that constitute this race its hard to pin point an overall religion that they follow. There is a lot of diversity among each race especially when referring to religion
personally, i live in the east coast in the state of NJ and am a christian, following the Greek orthodox religion

Why would Africans convert to Islam? It isn't an African religion, but an Arab one, as is Christianity. Judaism was first practiced by Arabs as well, does this mean that all Arab Muslims should become Jewish or Christian? I am an American of German ancestry, and I am an atheist, although my relatives all seem to practice Christianity or are agnostics/ atheists.

Many black,white whtever dont follow the Lord Jesus Christ because they had bad examples before them.
They dont know of a forgiveing,loveing God that shed his blood for our sins and they might just be playing the game rather then knowing God.
To others they just dont care about anything but themselves and what Is In It for them,eternal life Is not life here but IN heaven they forget what Jesus died and shed his blood for.
To others It might be just to please you,You might be real cute and they will turn there backs on the Lord Jesus Christ In my words they are not worth being with If they dont have a true change of heart and just want to be with you.My faith In my God comes first because a realationship without Jesus Christ Is not a relationship I would want.

Salam! Your statistics are way off. But it's OK. You were just misinformed. I am half african american and chinese. I am islamic. And follow moral teachings of buddhism. I live in NY and most have thier own beliefs and way of going about things. And africa is not just muslims. They have a lot of christians. Most peolple(not "all") in the states believe in jesus, but not christianity nor any sect of it. And you can tell people all you want about the coming of christianity spread by slave owners to strip the original man of his heritage, but who would accept it? And those slave owners were mostly christians. FACT. But who would really care when it comes to self glorification?

If you actually think that all africans were muslims you must be more ignorant than your post let on. First all the people who were muslims were in parts of western and northern africans because of their trade with the middle east. Furthermore the majority of Africans had poly thestic native beliefs, islam not being one of them. I cant believe you thought that.

That statistic is wrong.! Why are you so concerned about other races and religions.?
I thought it's haram to have boyfriend before marriage according to Islamic Laws.
