Truth be told I didn't wait until marriage and I'm glad I didn't. I dated my husband for 8 years before I married him. We've been married for 7 years and have a daughter. I don't think love is ever a sin and as long as they're consenting adults it should be the individuals' choice.

Many believe that a woman should wait until marriage because it gives the woman some type of security in the actual relationship. If a girl has sex with a "boyfriend", what is she gaining out of it? Pleasure? That should not be enough . . Maybe you do not have a daughter, but when you have a daughter, would you want her to be giving it up to each boyfriend that she has until the day that she gets married? She needs to give herself some value and respect., if she is good enough to have sex with, then she should be good enough to be a wife first and then make the man a father., that is another issue that women have, they become "baby mamas" and they are not even a wife... It is not about STD's or anything like that, it is about the value that you and a woman need to give yourself...

Do you re-gift?

Would you want the same engagement ring that had been worn by numerous other prospective brides? A ring that was offered to anyone willing to wear it? That's the principle here, except include bodily fluids, so imagine it to be a tongue ring.

Your body shouldn't be given to everybody willing to take you for a test ride. It should be saved and experienced together first and always.

As far as "monogamous" goes, um, yes it DOES mean married. Literally!

Lastly, no ring, no commitment.

The reason that you should save yourself for marriage is because not all engagements end in marriage. If you can get the milk for free why buy the cow?

I think if you take sex out of the equation, Then you are left with true feelings that you have to face. Like can you have a conversation that is meaningful? do you like how he treats you, talk to you, how he dress and is he funny? Are you the only one, does he has goals and is he presently productive? A lot of time, sex gets in the way and make you react to quickly. Then you find out he is dumb, don't like to wash and talks to other girls.

In this country you are allowed freedom of choice, and that included when to have sex. I don't have any problem with premarital sex. The problem I have is that when couples aren't married it's too easy for the guy to run away from his responsibility to take care of the baby, which explains the incredible number of guys who have unprotected sex and make babies with 2,3,4 and more women and don't support them.

That's something left over from the dark ages, only the religious nuts preach it, but no one ever lives it. Just ask any high schooler. How are to know if the two of you really do get along.

Simple answer because it's a sin in God's Eyes. Read the King James Version of the Holy Bible and this will confirm my reasoning. God Bless
