There's nobody to compete against in contests like: Guess the quantity of variable anti-matter singularities contained in million light-year-tall jar.
And what prizes would there be to win anyway....We are talking about the original annual recipient of the ugly tie....The guy who's got "everything"!
Maybe this explains a few things, I guess.

I reckon the poor guy/girl is bored of his/her titts mate! We've got God chilaxin' in his rocking chair every night watching his favorite episode of Seinfeld and he starts thinking. Darn am I lonely. Being God this is of no matter so he/she morphs into a middle age bald woman (I am assuming God can morph right?) and goes down to Earth to scope things out...
After 15 minutes spent here he/she decides that there is no intelligent life so he/she buggers off into to the Beta - Galactic - Quasi - Hemispheric - Gelato - Quadrant and gets into a game of Trivial Pursuit with a mutant race of hyper-galactic space chickens. To God's dimay he loses by a large margin and he is awe struck by the knowledge of these chickens. Being a compasionate guy/gal our God makes their deaths all painless as possible, (God is one sore loser) and sits down a big chicken dinner.
That is the real reason why God has no real competition left in the galaxy and is now faced with 27 more years of loneliness, (in 27 years time the hyper-galactic space chickens will rise from their own ashes and defeat Lord/Lady God in the challenge of most time spent on a toxic pogo-stick. With this, God will be banished existance and we will all be left worshiping hyper-galactic space chickens! I for one, welcome the change.)
ALL HAIL THE HYPER-GALACTIC SPACE CHICKENS!!
As for the, 'quantity of variable anti-matter singularities contained in million light-year-tall jar.' ............. There is only 17, but they are big buggers!!!

With the number of people who have abandoned him in the last 20-30 years yeah, I'd imagine he is pretty lonely.

well since there is no god, how can there be a contest? The fact that mankind is still stuck in religious worship, is an ugly fact that, has escaped all logic in the universe.

Right?.... NO. He/SHE/IT does not have human emotions. He alone created it for us to have. Like the emotion to conjecture a question just like such. Why can some people be by themselve and not be lonely nor have any fealing of such a notion? PEACE!

You are attributing human characteristics to a divine being.
The fact that you can't conceive of God is a starting point to understanding God.
