my best freind is pregnant, and didnt know until she became 4 months (mainly due to failed bc) but now she is afraid to date, because she doesnt want the guys to think she is just looking for a dad. her bf left her for another woman, and she got over it pretty quick, i just dont know what to say to her

Probably best she doesn't date now. The only men likely to want to be physically attracted to her are pregnancy fetishists and they are a rather weird bunch.
Better for her to concentrate for now on getting ready for the baby and then she can concentrate on getting a man at a later date. The "just looking for a dad" handicap is no better or worse with a kid than when pregnant, although - to be honest - any man who would think about her in that way is by definitation exactly the sort of man she wouldn't want to be with.

Maybe she should be focusing on the baby instead of boys, why risk your childs health because you can not keep your hands off the boys? Is that not what got her into this position in the first place? She sjould wait to date, if she really cares about the well being of her child

i dont kno....maybe she should just wait till after she gives birth.....either that or tell her that if shes interested in a guy tell her to tell them not to get scared that shes not looking for a daddy lol....if shes up front w them immediatley they will probably feel better about it. Im pretty sure that there are some guys that wouldnt mind. But also let her kno that if shes not looking for a daddy dont let the bf meet the kid wen its born cuz then they cud get too attatched.

maybe she needs this time to just be for her self and her up coming arrival.....I would imagine that it would just bring all sorts of extra trouble that she could well do without even trying to date at this point.
Tell her good luck with the baby and take care of her self, some one will be there for her as time goes by

it sounds like she needs time to take care of herself and her baby ...not dating for a few months is nt the end of the world !!
Their will be dates later ...she now needs to think about 2 lives
women do not die if they don't have a man in their life every second ...like a revolving door .

She should just be upfront with any guy she dates. It will be visibly obvious soon enough; from that point on, any guy that is willing to ask her out already knows what he might be getting into.
