I live in North Orange County about 4 miles away from the beach and will be going to Lake Arrowhead this weekend to visit friends and want to know how different the weather will be during the day and at night so I pack the appropriate clothes for me and my 20 month old daughter. Any help from people in the mountains would be greatly appreciated.

Bring some sweaters and jackets. It can get cold at night there. It should still be pretty warm in the daytime though. And check the forecast in the paper or online. They publish high and low temperatures for that area every day in the LA Times or Orange County Register.

Well Lake Arrowhead is in the IE, so expect high temperatures during the day (mid to upper 80s if this cool trend continues, low 90's otherwise). but it is up there in the mountains, so it will get chilly in the evening.
Bring sunscreen, light clothes, bug repellant, and a lgiht jacket for the evening.
