Just be yourself. Some girls are into shy guys. Don't try to be something that you're not... because that just looks awkward and you will feel uncomfortable. When the time is right and you feel comfortable just start by smiling and saying hello... if she responds in kind ~ great! If she doesn't ~ it wasn't meant to be... don't sweat it. It's tough to potentially face rejection... but you just have to be proud of yourself for trying and realize that all guys experience nervousness when talking to the opposite sex sometimes.

shy? well just try to make friends that are girls first. its a lot easier talking to someone when you arent feeling you have to ask them out and maybe eventually you will go out.
