You may need to go to your doctor and have a general check up. First is to make sure you do not have a surgical abdomen. Have you ever had abdominal surgery? If so this increased your chance of getting adhesions in your stomach. Do you pass gas? If so, you probably so not have an obstruction. The fact that you did have small BM's makes this a whole lot lesser of a worry.
It could be your gall baldder. Symptoms of gall bladder issues are in general, sharp pains and nausea after you eat a meal high in fat. The 4 F's helped alot in Medical School to determine who is at risk for gall bladder disease. They are I. Female,
II. Fat III. Forty and >, VI. Flatulence (Gas). This is a general rule to who may be gall bladder candidates.
There are two types of IBS, constipation, and the opposite, food just seems to run straight through after you eat a meal. The constipation type responds will to Zelnorm, 6mg BID. (Twice a day.)
Anothe idea is to go to your doctor and have yourself checked for H. Pylori, this is a bacteria that grows in your stomach, and there are several ways to treat this. If you are + for H. Pylori, and not allergic to PCN, A prev-pak, or a pre-packaged pack of 8 pills a day for 14 days. It consist of 30 mg prevacid a.m. and p.m., Amoxil 1,000 mg twice a day, Biaxin 500mg twice a day, and basically pepto-bismol twice a day. Take this for 14 days has a 95-99% cure rate. If you are allergic to PCN, there are other antibiotics to take, ie. Metronidaozle, 500mg tid x 14 days with a PPI, Protonix, Prevacid, Nexium,(the purple pill), Etc.
The H.Pylori issue sound to me as if what is going on with you, buy without a physical examination, and basic lab. test, I can not advise any thing elae.
Hope this helps. The other rec. are also something to consider, the IBS, is certainly something to consider. I did not go into this, as some one else has.
Bottom line, you need to go to your GP, and have a check up.
Hope this helps.

Perhaps you have an ulcer. And something that you ate irritated it. Try fasting for a couple of days with only water. You will probably feel much better.
I also have IBS, and it is different for everyone who has it, but for me staying away from gluten has really helped me. If I have been very strict about it, I have no pain, and no bloating either. And can lead somewhat of a normal life. Apart from having to be very careful about any cross contamination with gluten. (Which is the starch protein that binds grains together. Rice, is OK)
But yes, like the other answer, I would still check with your Dr. (even though there may be Dr's on here, lol it is still always good to check with your own also.)

I know a patient who has Crohn's. The best thing to do is to change your diet. Eat less carbs and more protein. Yogurt soothes the lining of the intestines. Eat less acidic stuff (as if you didn't already know that). To relieve bloating go to your bed and at the edge of your bed your toes and your knees must touch the bed and your palms must touch the carpet. Make sure your behind is high up in the air and let it rip. This may sound funny but several patients tell me that this is a great remedy to eliminate gas. Are you taking cortisol? Cortisol is in prednisone which reduces autoimmune flares and those nasty steroids also cause water retention. To get rid of water you must NOT take coffee as it causes more flare ups. Make sure you are in sports. Please please please play some aerobic sports. If the pain is too great don't take medication for pain as they only treat the symptoms and not the cause.
If you are in school or college set those courses aside. Next to you spirit, your health is your biggest concern now. IBD (I'm thinking "Inflamatory bowel disease" not irritable bowel disease) is a systemic disease and not doing something is the worst regret you'll ever have in the future.
Most importantly place you health in the hands of God. "Whatsoever ye ask, believe that you have already received it and you WILL receive it in prayer." May God be with you and may He restore your health according to His riches in Heaven.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region including digestive system, the liver, the gall bladder, pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe stomach pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. Please visit http://tinyurl.com/l9k9x for more information on causes and treatment.

well it could be that you could have the beginnings of an ulcer. does eating spicey foods, soda, or alcohol increase the symptoms? have you tried taking mylanta or tums to see if the symptoms disappear? your best bet would be to make an appt. with an MD and tell him what symptoms you have been having. if you have alot of stress in your life, that could also contribute to the burning sensation. once again sounds like a MD appt necessary. good luck
