I've been going out with this girl for around a month. She is a bit shy, but when we're together in a movie theatre, she seems a bit more flirty, then when we're out in public. I'm going out with her this weekend to watch a movie and I was gonna kiss her, but I was scared of rejection.

How do I know if she's ready to be kissed? Do I ask her for a kiss? Or just do it? Help me out here because I've never kissed a girl, and she has never kissed a guy either.

Here is a picture of me:

An idea I had was texting her while we're sitting next to eachother in the movies and texting her, "Can I ask you something?" and she will reply with, "yes" and I'll text her, "Can I kiss you?"

Good idea? or lame? I'm pretty shy... and she's shy herself.. but I feel like we've been going out a month and I think it'll help us progress in our relationship.

That is an excellent idea as well as an ice breaker. Do it.

It's definitely ok to ask her, then you'll know for sure whether or not she wants to. If she says yes, then the next time you two are alone, get close to her, touch her face gently, and lean in slowly and give her a simple kiss on the lips. Nothing more is necessary for the first kiss, but if both of you want to do more after then thats ok. The first guy that kissed me asked me if it would be ok, and I thought it was very sweet and respectable.

Good luck hun :)

Um sorry, I find the idea lame. All my friends complain how stupid it is when guys ask them for a kiss. What you do is touch her arm, her hair or do something intimate like that first. If she smiles and seems pleased, then you know she's ready to be kissed. If she isn't she'll let you know at that point, trust me.

Go ahead kiss her but just start out slow a little peck on the cheek if that goes over well then the opportunity is there and you know she is ready.

Personally, I would think the first kiss would be better somewhere alone and private rather than at the movie theater.

Don't be such a loser! Jump in and kiss her. Better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.

I dunno, but if you had your cellphone going off in a movie that I was at I wouldn't be very happy with you
