Sometimes they can take years.
& sorry 2 tell U this, once they start 2 grow they keep on growing.
Meant 2 grind off 1 another, so if U have some removed they should all B removed.

Normal and teeth should not appear in the same sentence.
My wisdom teeth popped out and in over a period of several years. I would go for check-ups and the nurse would question the calling out of teeth as what has been there the last time would change.
All four stayed out, partially at least, by the time I was 24. Two never fully emerged.

It depends on the location and position of the teeth. Some are positioned sideways or at an angle where it cannot come up to erupt through the gums. In that case, then they will not grow through. If they are in the correct position and have room to grow through then they can erupt anywhere from age 17-24. I know this is a vague answer but there really isn't a clear cut age when they will or won't come through. It really depends on the individual. You can have a dentist take an xray to look at the teeth and their position to estimate when and if they will come through. Good luck!

About as long as a piece of string. everyone is different! some people never get wisdom teeth at all and others can suffer for years with them. Good luck if your teething with them just now.

I am not sure, but do know the comment above, about how they supposedly don't stop growing, and need to grind off one another? Not true. I have only the bottom ones (was born with bottom ones only--not uncommon) that have come thru fine, and definitely know their place, lol. The dentist has made no noises about removing them. I think maybe that person was thinking of horse teeth:P

There's no real answer to this I am sorry to say as everyone is different. It is down to when the little blighters want to come out. I am in my late twenties and still have't had them, I have one that is half way through and incredibily painful. Feels like I am teething all over again.

It usually takes about 2-3 months to grow fully. Mine took about that long I think to grow. I think 1 is still growing.

I'm 36 and my bottom right wisdom tooth never has made it all the way through. Dentist keeps an eye on it and keeps muttering about having to get the Eagles Beak* out.
* I love that one...sounds REALLY medieval and brutal - "Eagles Beak please nurse."

One of mine didn't the other three did after a lot of soreness then I had them all taken out including the one that didn't want to play ball.
They take how long it takes and there's no timescale for them.
