The fastest thing I say was the Discovery recently. Man that thing can accelerate!
The eye can detect motion in 1/16 of a second. It's how movie frames work. So if you take some drugs that make you blink your eye 16 times per second, you're blind until it's all over. Or you use some tape.

Took a Kawasaki ZX1100 down the Autobahn at about 185mph - a little scary. Gave the bike back to my buddy & took my own FZR600 back, for a sedeate 150mph cruise the rest of the way to the beer festival.
