I have found that compliments come in many forms. Very often how they are received depends on the age and upbringing of that woman. I can say that younger women accept the term "Hot". The terms gorgeous and beautiful are nearly the same thing but women don't always take compliments as they are meant or in some cases they feel it's just a smoke screen so you can get in their pants. And I have to admit...very often I believe they are right. I raised 2 daughters and they have heard every compliment there has ever been in regards to their looks..... all from men looking for one thing. If a man wants to seriously make a compliment that is meaningful...make it different. Make it believeable. And be sincere.
Women like to know they are desireable...of that there is no doubt. However, they also want to taken serious and be appreciated for being intelligent etc.
So no matter what your choice of compliment.... make it worth the while........and count for something. And most imporatantly...don't have a motive.

Beautful or gorgeous seem to be more appropriate than hot. Hot is not necessarily bad, I would rather be called beautiful or gorgeous.

Yeah, I'd take all 3. It does depend on the circumstance and what I'm wearing. But really, any compliment is a good one if its sincere.

the two appealing or staggering. I for one can not stand while my boyfriend calls me 'warm' or 'alluring'. And as quickly as I get called 'babe' or 'infant' it makes me prefer to gnaw my hands off. i don't comprehend why, yet I basically locate those words so derogatory.
