They would land on the ground. I've seen a few pictures of bodies completely flattened by impact. Just a bunch of skin and blood, everything else disinegrated. They were mostly unidentified, so unless they had taken high resolution photographs where they could zoom in and identify the faces of the people as they were falling, there is no other way. The family would have only recieved a phone call that they're family member could not be found, and has been pronounced dead.

They landed on the ground, some on roof tops. In some respects they were the lucky ones, if rescuers got to them quick enough the families atleast had a broken body to grieve over. So many people nothing was found of them in the trade centre, like the building had swallowed them up whole.

I watched a special hosted by Robert DeNiro last night that showed footage of the NYC firefighters gathering at the first floor of the WTC. They could hear these horrible banging sounds, and it turned out to be bodies of people jumping from the building. The looks on their faces said it all. I have to believe that NYC firefighters have seen it all, but they looked absolutely shocked at what they were experiencing. Just a terrible, senseless disaster. I still can't make sense of it today.

I pray to God that they left this world shortly after they jumped! I believe that God cradled them in his arms and they never touched the ground!! God bless all who lost their lives and the loved ones that were left behind!! What we lose for a fight for freedom is a high price!! God Bless America!!!
