Yep

"It is an insult to God to believe in God. For on the one hand it is to suppose that he has perpetrated acts of incalculable cruelty. On the other hand, it is to suppose that he has perversely given his human creatures an instrument--their intellect--which must inevitably lead them, if they are dispassionate and honest, to deny his existence. It is tempting to conclude that if he exists, it is the atheists and agnostics that he loves best, among those with any pretensions to education. For they are the ones who have taken him most seriously."

No, my Lord, does not say that. Anyone who reads between the lines that has a sixth grade education, (some even with less), is bound to see that the bible is truth. Even reading between the lines of His parables, about the one about the King, who's people rejected him because they didn't recognise him? He was speaking of Himself, and trying to tell them in parable. I guess even so called thinkers back then, couldn't read between the lines very well either.

Reading between the lines implies there is some hidden meaning in the Bible... though the Bible itself makes very clear that it has been given to us as instruction... and it wouldn't be a very good instruction manual if it's intentions were hidden.

In fact, The Bible says "the fool has said in his heart that there is no God". Jesus proclaimed himself to be the way, the truth and the life. he proclaimed us to be the Light of the world.

I am very curious how you got that message. Please share.

God says that the Atheist is a fool. How blind do you have to be to see that only the handiwork of God could have created this Earth and our existance. An atheist is a liar.

Did it really say that? I thought it said Jesus was the truth and the light and the way. I must have been confused for many years. Thanks for straightening me out.
