Non-religious people do not need the concepts of heaven or hell to guide them through their moral decisions. Non-religious people do not require a threat of harm and suffering to do good.

Some people are very religious, yet haven't received the free gift of God, eternal salvation. Everlasting life & heaven are the same thing.

Being religious doesn't get anyone into heaven. Jesus shed His own blood for the remission of our sins. That is the only way to have our sins washed away. To confess to God Jesus Christ your Lord & believe in your heart His Atonement for ones sins & resurrection.

Those that go to heaven are those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Even one sin without atonement for it will keep someone out of heaven.

Sins do not go to heaven. God won't allow it. So even one sin will keep someone out of heaven if they did not receive atonement for it.

I have heard the testimony of one guy in a hospital who died & went straight to hells gates.
He cried out to God asking why he went there because he was so religious in his church. Jesus told him he wasn't born again, so was brought back to life. He later had another heart attack and was at hells gates again. He cried out to God asking why he went there and received the same answer. After these two near death experiences, he confessed Jesus Christ His LORD & believed in His heart the atonement for sins & resurrection & bacame born again.

AxeltheKhaen, Be careful what you wish for. God will let you experience hell before you die. I have. Just a taste & you don't want to go through it. But it is better to experience hell before you die because it forwarns you. Rather than after you die, because one can't leave hell once through hells gates.

Many non religious people are God's favorite friends. Religion is sometimes a perversion of the truth. You can become God's friend in your bathroom all alone or somewhere more comfortable. I suggest you do it like that, alone so you and He can celibrate without others stealing any of it which seems to happen some times when people give to others what belongs to God alone.

I think what you are asking is who goes to Hell and who doesn't. Does being ignorant of God allow you entrance into Heaven? Does being before God on Judgment Day allow you to plead ignorance and say "I never knew?"

I say all people are going to Hell unless they repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. What more do you want God to do for you? He allows you entrance into Heaven as a gift of grace. If you reject Jesus and don't repent, then you leave Him no choice. He will judge justly in accordance to righteousness. You have to ask yourself how righteous you are. If you have ever lied, stolen, coveted, looked lustfully at the opposite or same sex, created an idol to worship instead of the Living God of Israel, bowed down to a graven image, used the Lord's name in vain, then you are far from righteousness and should be terribly afraid. Nobody can save themselves. Only Jesus can save you from the wrath of God. Repent, and get saved.

I don't think so..I give God a little credit that it is not nearly as stupid and bigoted as humanity..I don't like to assign God human traits as it is demeaning to God and just plain nonsensical. So saying that, I would think God would take those who are worthy despite what they call themselves much like I would invite those I like to a party instead of just inviting those who CALL themselves people liked by me.

STEPHEN M:: I say those that tell me I am going to hell are the ones who are gonna burn in hell for eternity. Your whole argument is that unless someone says "Jesus is blah blah blah blah" they are automatically barred from heaven..well that may be but if God is that crass and evil then I don't wanna go to heaven

YES all non religious people will go to Hell when they die unless they repent and ask Jesus into their heart but they will still be accountable for their actions from their lives........

Religion, doesn't save. Only Jesus Christ saves. There will be many religious people in hell.

We are worth a Son to God.

Yeah, if you believe some people. That's fine with me, though. I'd rather an eternity with George Carlin than an eternity with Ann Coulter.
