'05 Subaru WRX STI est. $21-$25k
'06 Subaru WRX TR (tuner ready) est. $23-$26k w.options
'04-'05 Pontiac GTO est. $21-$24k + a cheap winter beater (around $1,500)

I cant decide what to get, I have a 5 year old son so I like the four doors and AWD on the Subaru and I live in WI. where it snows. But damn that GTO is tight but i'd have to get a beater for the winter cause that GTO can't be that good in the snow. Also I have a poor driving record so im looking to pay around $250 a month, surprisingly the GTO had a lower monthly insurance payment than the Subaru's, which I don't understand. And I will be putting down about 8 grand , so what would you get if you were in my situation???

I would get the 2006 Subaru WRX TR w. options.

Because of your particular situation, you may have to get the GTO.

lets see turbo awd is nice especialy in the area u live in (winter times) ..would be easier if u put down 06 sti on the list :)
the wrx's are more practical since u do have a family.
BUT the gto is SICK altho ur talkin about the 5.7 it still garauntees more fun and more head turning. Rims exhaust and ull be more then happy with it ......id get the gto plus beater i think the gto is a more enjoyable car (done rambling ) :)

you evidently like fast cars, this must account for your poor driving record, don't buy any of these, get a used Subaru Legacy, anything made within the last 5 years, get the lowest mileage one, you can't be serious about a $250 a month payment on such expensive cars, not unless they have 10 year financing

A $2000 used car. Don't be like millions tied to payments with jobs going every day overseas. Buy a house or land. Cars lose value. Don't be a sucker trying to out do someone.

Forget the new models, get a late model used one. You'll have a lot of the depreciation already knocked off the price.

so some distance as i know, whoever "hits" has the criminal duty or is "at fault". In different words, coverage businesses and regulation enforcements point of view is, "when you're following all the rules of the line and safe practices, there is in no way any reason to hit something." Now, if there replaced into ice on the line, that could atleast make issues lean more desirable on your want, yet i imagine you need to have a image taken that day of the stretch of highway you slid on. it truly is why they say you need to continuously have atleast a disposable digital camera on your vehicle to take a image of an twist of destiny and twist of destiny scene on the day of the twist of destiny, alongside with a cellular telephone, your coverage counsel, motive force's license and registration. optimistically you've vehicle coverage that could pay even even if it is your fault, or if no longer, various friends and kin that could actually help you in this time of disaster. there is various different aspects to think about: replaced into both of the drivers driving even as impaired, or in a hurry, did both go away the scene of the twist of destiny before regulation enforecement arrived, what kind of vehicles were in contact, did both have vehicle coverage-dl license-registration-etc... So optimistically, possibly there is different aspects that are on your want the following. In both case, that's a be-careful call to continuously stress thoroughly and defensively and shop as a lot area between you and different shifting vehicles or gadgets as attainable, have a seat belt on, and haven't any distractions like listening to the radio, ingesting, ingesting, speaking on a cellular telephone, etc... i know all this because i have been driving for years now, and performance surely been in some injuries. In each twist of destiny except one, someone hit me and for some reason none of them even had a motive force's license!!!! contained in the twist of destiny the position I hit someone, I rear ended someone, basically like you probably did. So in view that I "hit", it replaced into my fault, even in spite of the reality that the vehicle in the front of me stopped short and actually quickly, no longer giving me any time to cease. the surely ingredient that saved me replaced into that the vehicle I hit left the scene of the twist of destiny, and, from what I understand, it replaced into some kind of coverage scam on the area of the different motive force.
