Not all answers are directly proportionate to every question. But first, the Anatomy of a question must be examined.
What is a "question?" This is weird because one is forced to use the very entity being examined to examine the question of what a question is. This is an indication that there is something lacking in man's logic or his communication systems or both or something else.
The answer is within the answer...never the question. For if we answer before we are even asked, the answer is already there; isn't it? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind.
Hope you got your answer because I am not answering any more questions in this context nor am I questioning you further.

Because many of the people who ask these questions that insult your faith do not really believe in what they are saying, that's why they are always coming back for more! They really want to be convinced that their current opinion is not valid. They are searching and you ( or me) may be the one to just finally turn their thinking around or provide the insight they needed. Then there is the" trickle effect", The more someone is exposed to an idea and from many different perspectives, the more their subconscious( or conscious) mind is influenced. They may insult you 40 times and then one day say "hey, I'm really putting this all together and this makes sense"So..................You are never wasting your time when you give an honest answer and there is no need to feel insulted.

To hopefully post an answer that will make the questioner wonder if they are right in their opinion, or are they being unfair in their judgements of us? The thing is, ultimately you can only guide someone to think differently, but if they are stubborn in their beliefs against you, all you can do is hope they will change their feelings about the issue. Religion is always a touchy subject. I expect insulting comments when I'm open about being a Muslim. It just goes with the territory, and you just learn to get a thick skin. Peace.

Because I am a natural born smart @ss and sometimes I just like to play with people's minds. Normally, the first clue that you've ticked me is when your head falls off.
But if I sense that the person genuinely doesn't understand an issue, I'll try to reply politely and seriously. Sometimes what looks like an insult is actually a legit question, but the person doesn't know quite how to ask it.
In that case, maybe they'll understand better if I reply seriously, and I've gained a friend.

I really answer questions for several reasons, one of which I get stimulated my the the whole Y! Answers program. There are so many people involved who have different ways thinking and different style of answering. In short, there is a whole world here in this program, enough to make you interested to get involved and keep on going as life itself goes on. It becomes part of every day thing.

most of the time I do avoid them, but...............every now and then one will pop up that I just CANNOT resist.
call me weak, call me crazy, but I just have to jump in there and have some fun.
OK, OK you can call me immature too. I can live with that!
Actually, answering these silly questions can be quite an effective stress buster.
And the points. Sometimes it's all about the points. Workin' on level four, ya know!!! LOL

I totally understand what you mean. Every since the non-religious, non-spirtiual people found this board, it has been nothing but a mockery of faith. Back in January when YA was new, this was a wonderful religious, thought provoking sight. Maybe if we stop answering, they'll slither back under their rocks where they came from.

You know, have you ever thought about that the person asking the question wants your reaction and to hear what you have to say. Like was said here, there is a question within a question. A lot of times I have noticed that when one puts a statement out there, they want to hear what you say, but not believing what he is really asking, but to get you to put your thoughts down. It is like, ok, I believe one way, but I am saying this to find out what you will say about it, although you and I may believe the same thing. That is what I think, some people just put a question out there wanting to see what you would say about it, for the heck of it, I guess.

A better question is, "Why should anyone feel the need to insult another person's faith?" The responders aren't the problem. It's the asker.

It's because I believe in my faith, that I have to reply and stand up for what I believe in. People should'nt insult other peoples faith just for a cheap laugh, thinking they're so funny. Grow up.
