I am a natural blonde and one time I tried dying my hair a real pretty dark purplish red. And well 2 weeks later I tried dying it back to blonde and it turned my hair orange. Really orange. It was so embarrassing. The cause of the problem was that I went crazy with hair dye. Now I dont dye my hair anymore. I hope this is a good answer. Sorry if it isnt. It is all I could think of when I read your question.

I had very damaged hair. I was the cause, because I had such a nice long hair but I decided to use perm to make my hair super soft when I really didn’t need it. My advice will be ladies if you know you have nice hair keep it natural don’t use any chemical.

Still currently having that problem. I don't know what causes the problem, hence the whole problem in progress thing.
