No, life is short but you want to be happy. So if you find a person that makes you happy, then it is okay. But if you just find any good person, it is not worth it. Be with the one you love, not love the one you are with.

That philosophy has worked for many people and it has also failed for many people. Most experienced guys will tell you that the best girl to have is an average girl.
The average girls are usually the most fun and are smarter. They aren't shallow like extremely hot girls with no brains.
If you find a good girl then treat her right and hang on to her. She may be the best thing that ever happened in your life. Some recommend having kids soon so it forces you to grow up and get your life together. But that doesn't always work. But I kind of agree with it. Once you find a decent girl then hook up and move on. But only if you are ready for that.

Life is not that short, to settle with the first person you like. They may not be what you expected them to be. Life is long enough to go around and find the right person for you...that sounded pretty gay but what the heck.

Life is not that short. It is better to live a truthful and faithful life than to live a life full of lies and regret. The one meant for you will eventually come along and maybe it wont be right away or when you want it to, but love has it's ways. It finds you at the door, you can't go knocking on its doors.

I disagree. I have been through many that I considered "decent enough" and have learned to never settle. Find out what you do and do not want in a partner and go for that person.

NO. Life is too short to be spent miserable. Get pre-marital counseling and see if you agree on the budget,the kids, the religion, the in-laws, spanking or not, etc. Live for you first. Love will find you.

Yeah ...life is short but why make a mistake with the first dumbo you see?? Its bad enough to get hitched let alone to be married for life with someone you cant stand???
My answer is NO.......I will be selective and choose wisely or so I think!!

Depends on how tolerant you are of people. If you are the knit picky type, it will be hell. if you are the type that is easy to please and generally positive you could probably pull it off. And what is your definition of decent enough, the whole problem with relationships is FINDING someone decent.

The way I see it is your going to have the same problems with anyone. So yes I think its a choice between two people that they want to have a committed relationship and if both work towards making it great.

Well, you qualified it by saying that that person would have to meet basic, decent criteria. If you got along really well and weren't embarassed to be seen out together in a crowd, why not?.
