this is going to sound funny, but it's what I do....
first you need some kind of chunking of texturizing gel.
(I use Garnier Surf Hair or the stuff from the Loreal Studio Line)
Put it on my damp hair.
Take a towel pretend like your drying your hair.
or
Take a towel with you to your bed, place it on your pillow, lay down and roll your head around on the pillow.
Either way you'll get the desired results.

What you want to do, Is take a shower before bed. Use no shampoo or conditioner. Roll around a lot and just be silly. You will have a funny surprise in the morning.

What you could do is take a shower the night before. Then apply the gel to your hair like you would naturally, then style it. Then you could go to sleep, and then when you wake up, it will be perfect. Trust me.

You mean the messy and just-got-out-of-bed but didnt-bother-to-brush-my-hair look?

You could cut your hair into a short shag and get just some pea sized amounts of mouse and mess it up - massage it into your hair...then as a final stage of the ritual, you could shake your hair like crazzy and leave the effect created...VOILA: hello crazzy bedhead!
