Illegals just want what their own countries don´t provide to them: a way to live decently and provide food and home for their families. You could say this is their countries´s problem, not US´s. But do you know why this countries cannot give their people their needs. This is more than a cultural coincidence, even more than the corruption of the people that rule this countries trying to have for them and only for them their american dream; USA and Europe rule the world and use their economic and military power to define what is or isn´t good not only for them but for the rest of the world, and what a curious thing, they always get the biggest or the best part of the cake. Migration or inmigrants are not only problems of USA, just look right now Spain and France trying to stop africans to reach their countries. Is poor and unfortunate people from the south hemisphere trying to get a little piece of what the people from the north hemisphere already have. And if you are wondering when is this problem going to stop, I think only when USA and Europe stop getting the biggest or best part of the cake and decide to either share the cake or teach this people how to make their own one. But global economy doesn´t seem to be interested in this solution now, maybe in the future when there is more hungry, poverty, natural damage and a dishumanized society.

Maybe they want the same things that we do -- a safe place to live, jobs to feed their families, clean water to drink, a good education for their children, decent health care, civil rights, peace, freedom. . .
. . .everything that we usually take for granted because we've grown up with them and never known what it is to do without them. How many of us have traveled thousands of miles each year to pick crops or willingly worked at minimum wage jobs to put food on the table for our little ones?
How many here have gone to a foreign country and struggled with a different language and strange customs just because we can't stay in the country we love and still take care of our families? How many of us have risked our lives and our freedom to try and make a better life for ourselves and those we love?
I don't know what the answer is to the immigration problem. But I *do* have a pretty good idea of why people leave all that they love and risk everything for the things we so often take for granted.

They want to make money to send back to their families still living in Mexico and other places overseas, tax free of course. I mean lets be real, illegal immigrants are paid under the table, tax free b/c there is no way to document their earnings, since they do not have a social security numbers. And don't be fooled, Mexican's are not the only people that fall into this category...Plenty of other countries have people who do the same thing, but Mexicans get the bad name because they are closer. Its a damn shame that hardworking U.S. citizens have their money taxed to all hell to pay for services that's easy for illegal immigrants to get, but hard for U.S. citizens to obtain. If you want to live and work in U.S.A, do it the right way and become a legal citizen. But you have to wonder, what would Mexico do if the U.S. emptied its borders into their country???????

The borders should never have been "loose"; Bad policy on our part.
The limit on LEGAL immigration should never have been 1/5 of our demand for imported labor surplus. Bad policy on our part.
We should not have our customs and border patrol wasting time gathering up fruitpickers instead of gangsters. Bad policy on our part.
Too late to alter the past. Lets get realistic in the present. Permit more LEGAL immigration, tighten that border, and start deporting any alien, legal or not, who is an ACTUAL criminal.

They probably want the same things my grandfather wanted when he immigrated from Ireland. They want the opportunity to work and save and make a better life. The generalities expressed here do nothing but point to an uninformed ignorance. If you go far enough back...everyone's ancestor immigrated to this country from some where else. Think about it.

The right to work and to earn a living. I think if you studied just the unemployment rates in Mexico and other 3rd world countries around the world, you will begin to understand and answer your own questions.
It is not very likely that a non-citizen would actually be able to run for any political office in this country or in any state for that matter..

A JOB! FREEDOM!
Because the govt. over in mexico is really corrupt..as it is here. but here you have more freedom and its safer, better jobs where you wont get paid 2$ /hr to be able to feed a family of 8.
Its like when the british came to invade america and made it look like a 'white' country... why does it have to be only mexicans,
theres other people from around the country who immigrate,
w/o the mixture of people this country would suck a.s.s!
it would be like going to a party and eating the same thing over and over or seeing the same thing over and over. If there weren't immigrants of different cultures we wouldn't have all the different foods, all this JOBS, all this schools etc. this country would be a dull country. I'm glad to be in a place where i don't only see one race and see a different one once a yr. I'm glad to be in a country where i know i can be somewhat safe, w/o having a man (no offense to you guys or religion sorry)run my life, I'm glad to be in a country where i can go to school, and be a somebody! Where if i start my own business I know I could help others of different race get a job by hiring them and help them help their family to get on their feet, to have experience on a job so they can find a better job if they want, and help them move up like other people have moved up.

They want what you and I have worked hard for. I understand wanting a better life. But, do it right. Besides, if you could see some of the name brand, high quality clothing that is left out in the desert here (via illegals passing through) you'd wonder how they can afford it. I can't.

If you don't believe I am be harassed, you aren't reading those posts from all of those pods. I am not only being harassed but stalked.
You are right about not needing my permission to foward e-mails but that certainly lets me know what kind of a person you are to just do it without permission from me. I do agree with you on one thing that you claim: it's not right to stalk and use those kinds of tactics and that we should be acting like adults but as for what people have told you, you shouldn't believe everything you are told.

Well at first I wasn't sure about you. Now I am. You sent or showed my message TO YOU to the imposter which means you obviously know her/him. You did this without my permission. I am just disappointed that you are as low as they are.

could care less about controlling anyone. I have noticed, however, that you seem to agree and jump on the bandwagon, so to speak, whenever someone who is anti-criminal is attacked. I don't report people for anything and everything like some of the dumbasses on here, they know why they are. So, no...I have no desire to control anything.
