No. I dont hate myself, but I think to myself why am I so nice. Its all down to how I have been brought up. My niceties are sometimes exploited and even aware I been taken for a ride blatently, I do not retaliate I smile and move on. I do feel hurt sometimes but I never show it. I guess I am like that. x

Oh my goodness no! People think that being nice means being weak, giving in to others and never worrying about getting your own way and that is so totally wrong.

Being a nice person means you can live with yourself. You try to put the kindest face on everyone and everybody and you treat others respectfully (as you would like to be treated). Being a nice person means you can go to bed at night with a clear concience and sleep peacefully.

If something bad has happened to you as a result of being a nice person, do not despair. Your good deed has not gone unnoticed and you will be rewarded 10 fold at some point. Call it karma, god's reward - whatever. Being a good person is a reward unto itself, honestly. Truly.

Please be kind to yourself. Spend some time meditating, yogic breathing (super great for healing emotional and spiritual wounds) and visualizing. One of the nicest things that you can do for yourself is to just imagine yourself in your mind very clearly happy, at peace, and surrounded by people who love you (even if they are all angels).

Peace!

No. I know that because of my manners and respect for women I have been taken advantage of throughout my life. However, now at the age of 65, I am happy, content, financially secure, with two lovely grandchildren. I am at peace with the world and my wife is my best friend. I can do what I like as regards buying what I like, I have a small job on a golf course which pays me my pocket money and gives me free golf. Life could not be better. I remain a 'nice' person and hope to remain so until the day I die. Please do not hate yourself for being nice, it pays handsome dividends in the long run. God bless.

Hey look, I'm a nice person and so is my wife. Yes we have been taken advantage of, economically and other ways, but hey that's who we are. We believe in doing good to all and if we don't get anything in return, no matter we did our part. Life would be a lot better if everyone was nice most of the time. I wouldn't change for anything in the world. Everybody sez that good guys finish last, but not in my book or in the Good Book (Bible). I am who I am and I'm happy with that.

Nice peoples pay day will come and believe me we will cash in big. God Bless and stay nice.

Sometimes.. I feel that same way.. but you need to know that you are a nice person.. and its the other people who needs to look in the mirror for being mean..

Just take one day at a time.. and love yourself.. for being a nice person...

I was a nice person gave in to something i knew i wasn't supposed to do. Got over it and you know what things are better because i know im just a man who made a mistake, and will resume being nice. Funny thing about life your given tests to see how you'll do.

No because being nice is about YOU not other people. I know that I feel good about myself when I am nice to people.

There is a difference between being nice and being a pushover. Only thing you have to do is say no when you don't agree. Being nice has nothing to do with it. I guess it goes with being honest.
