It may increase it but you would need some way to catch the steam. Alchol has a lower boiling point than water, that is the idea behind distilling. However you need something to catch the alcohol steam so that it will condse back into drinkable alcohol. This would work better with some chemistry equipment and an open range stove.
I agree with the other respondent however, drink something stronger or more.

Actually, it decreases the alcohol content. When beer is heated (in the microwave) the alcohol evaporates first as it has a lower boiling point as compared to the water content.
Also this might proove to be mighty harmful for your micro!!

What does microwaving beer have to do with chest hair? Just curious!! As for hot beer, well, don't recommend it. It's hard enough to drink it really cold,unless you have shrimp or craw fish!!

I have never heard of that, but, hey, it's BEER... Give it a try and see...I have heard drinking it through a straw seems to enhance the buzzage, but it is so dorky... Good luck on your quest, let me know if it seems to work, and I will get busy stuffing the micro with it......
