Isnt it odd that youre being labeled a racist when you bring up a very serious problem? I know you meant that sarcastically but the reality is nobody has addressed this with a viable solution.
Last year close to my home, an illegal from Mexico was driving drunk and hit a 16 yr old girl head on. She is an honor student, athlete and working a part time job to pay for her car. She could only afford liability insurance. Now she is a quadriplegic and you know how the saying goes, cant squeeze blood from a turnip.
I think people should look past the verbiage of your question and think about it. How would they feel if something like that happened to their friend or family member. I think people fail to realize how wide spread of an epidemic this really is.
Naw, I wouldnt want to own anyone but wheres the justice? There should be stiff penalties for anyone that drives without insurance and strictly enforced. They put everyone on the roads at risk.

No that's what uninsured and under insured auto insurance is for.We are paying to fix our own cars if someone that doesn't have insurance hits us.Here in AZ if they can they run when they hit your car or cause an accident.Most of the time they are driving some old POS type car so they just take off before the cops get to the accident.A couple of months ago some guy about 19 or so tried to run from 2 older ladies,one was 65 the other 68
well he didn't get far ,one of the ladies that were driving a Mercedes tackled him and the other one had a 32 snub nose revolver and he stayed put until the cops got there it was so funny to hear theses 2 old ladies describe what happened.In AZ you can carry a weapon if you have a concealed permit.Turns out the guy was illegal and he was arrested.

No, that sort of thinking just makes the problem worse. The insurance companies already rake in a premium from your policy to cover uninsured drivers. In order for you to get the actual value of your loss back the state should stump up the rest, Lets face it it is their failed immigration policies that have allowed the illegal in in the first place? If this was to occur I would first go through my insurance company, Then I would raise an action against my local politician to recover the rest, I would probably get laughed out of court. However if enough people did the same thing they might start to get a bit rattled and do something about the problem.

hahaha An illegal hit my sister while she was riding her bike across the street. He was supposed to stop at the stop sign but didn't. He had no insurance and no drivers license. The police officer assured us he was going to be deported. Did he? Who knows. If he did...did he just sneak back over again? Probably.
Did my parents ever get reimbursed for the hospital visit and damage to the bike. HELL NO! This is the cost of having illegals in this country...and this is a small one compared to the others. I vote to forward the bills to the white house since it is their fault they got over the border in the first place.

The Illegal should be sent Directly to Prison. While in Prison the Illegal should be forced to work at Prison wages until the debt is paid in full. After which the Illegal should be Immediately deported.

I live 45 minutes from the Mexican border and that is a HUGE problem here. What's funny is, if we drive down in Mexico without Mexican insurance, we go to jail. The U.S. doesn't even CHECK if they have US insurance when they come here. What's wrong with this picture!??! No wonder our under-insured policies are required!

If an illegal is responsible for having caused a wreck, then his car should be towed and he should be responsible for the damages caused. Nothing further.

no. They just set up a way for the illegal immigrant to pay them. Just like with any other person that has no insurance in the same situation. But unlike uninsured Americans, most illegal immigrants dont have insurance because our government wont let them.

We (US citizens) all pick up the tab. They can do what they want and we all pay. But, I do like your idea. Never happen though. Can't even get them to follow the correct process to enter into this country.

there's a portion of your insurance called"uninsured, under insured" meant for stuff like this. now cut the stupid owning crap
