idk why they don't call today as a holiday to remember all the ones that died in the terrorist attacks. It should be. But since its not, we all know that all these people that died still remain in our hearts and prayers.

this isnt a day to be having a bar be que or a pool party. people died and this is a sad occasion for the country. id know because when the teacher made us watch a movie about it, the whole class cried. this day does not need to be a holiday-just a memory.

Holidays are generally meant to be days of celebration. We celebrated the end of World War II, but not the days that we dropped atomic bombs on Japanese cities, wiping out thousands.

Why would it be a holiday? There is NOTHING to celebrate. Today, 5 years ago was one of the greatest tragedies this country ever faced!

I don't think it is something to celebrate, but i do belive that one day they will declare it a national holiday, Not to celebrate but for a day to mourn and remember. They have already talked about this.

I think this day would be a special day, my dear. When we witness the horror and evilness of mankind ,would we keep a Constance reminder of our nature and retire to innocence? When peace retires to us ,we can relax to remember the unfaithful events of 9.11and think how to keep peace .
