Simple, since God has foreknowledge He knows everyone's free will or decisions, so it has always been predestinated because He has always known how all of it was going to pan out. When a a person says I believe and repents and becomes born again it is no mystery to God. He has chosen to give salvation to all who will believe. So there you have it, people really like to confuse this one.

As I understand it, everyone born into the world is already destined to be saved or not. No matter what you do or how you live, your eternal destiny is already set. The opposite would be free will.

Free will isn't real. Every choice you make in life is based on a cause. Everything is predetermined.
