OK .. let's be a little creative then ... How could we do this and make it tasty??
How about if we soften some creme cheese and add a little blue cheese, salt and pepper and maybe just a hint of chives.
Now make two thin burger patties and put some of our spread between the patties and seal them.
We can grill them over charcoal and serve them on a bun, garnished with lettuce and tomato ..
See, that wasn't too bad.
Happy burgering.

I have never had a hamburger with cream cheese on it and I cannot find any cream cheese hamburger recipes. If he likes it that way, just cook the burger and top it with cream cheese- I think a mic of cream cheese and mushrooms might be good.

I did come across some ground hamburger casserole recipes that include cream cheese :

Title: DOUBLE CHEESE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Categories: Cheese, Hamburger, Main dish, Meats, Vegetables
Yield: 5 servings

4 oz Noodles; Uncooked, Abt 2 C
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1/3 c Onion; Chopped
1/4 c Celery Chopped
8 oz Tomato Sauce; 1 Cn
1 ts Salt
3 oz Cream Cheese; Softened, 1 Pk
1/2 c Cottage Cheese; Creamed
1/4 c Dairy Sour Cream
1 ea Tomato; Md., Optional

Cook the noodles as directed on the package and then
drain. While the noodles are cooking, cook and stir
the meat, the onion and the celery in a large skillet
until the meat is brown. Drain off the excess fat.
Stir in the noodles tomato sauce, salt, cream cheese,
cottage cheese and the sour cream.
TO COOK IN A SKILLET:
Heat the mixture to boiling, then reduce the heat and
simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat. Cut the tomato into thin slices
and arrange on the meat mixture. Cover and let sit
for about 5 minutes or until the tomato slices are
warmed. TO COOK IN THE OVEN:
Turn the mixture into an ungreased 1 1/2-quart
casserole. Cut the tomato into thin slices and
arrange on the meat mixture. Cover and bake in a 350
degree F. oven until hot, about 30 minutes. Serve
immediately.

*********** Okay- found something- there is a burger on this list that includes cream cheese and olives- he may also be thinking of feta cheese- which there are some here with Feta (one of my favorites_ anyway, I will send oyu the site because there are recipes for many variations of hamburgers- some are very interesting and different if oyu are brave- have fun!!

You probably have had cream cheese on Burgers, where I can not tell you. I can tell you that to make these tasty treats just slice a block of cream cheese and place on burger same as any other slice of cheese. OR, make a ball of ground beef, push your thumb into the ball, then push in small diced, pea size pieces of cream Cheese into the hole, seal the hole shut, flatten the burger, cook as you usually would. The cream cheese will melt inside while the beef is cooking. (You could also put the cream cheese between two burgers and pinch the edges closed. This will cook the same way.)
Try dry onion soup mix. Mix it into your raw ground beef, make burger patties, cook. DELICIOUS!
Also Lemon Pepper seasoning makes great tasting burgers. Swiss cheese and put burger on toast. YUM, Yum!

Yeah we do that all the time, just add the cream cheese to the burger before you cook it, its really good. Also if your not a fan of cream cheese you can but normal cheddar cheese in with the hamburger just mix it in, to me it taste a lot better then when you add the cheese after its cooked

Maybe he's thinking of blue cheese. Islands has a Bluenami burger that has blue cheese dressing & blue cheese crumbles on it. And when the cheese melts it resembles cream cheese . . . many other places have blue cheese burgers also.
