Almost everything has an opposite. Up, down; good, evil; God, Satan; I don't believe that God created hate, that's more of a man-made thing. Free will does address this issue, sin also addresses it. I don't know how you can talk about hate without talking about sin and free will.

The way I understand it in the Book of Genesis, all things, good and evil, were a part of God's nature. But I don't think he intended them to be a part of man's nature because man did not come to know good from evil until he disobeyed God. So yes, hate is a part of our nature, as is sin, but that was not God's original plan, so you can't blame it on God.

From God comes all good things. Everything else comes from the world or satan.

It is easy to believe that hate comes from Satan. I believe that, in part. But hating something comes from a place of fear. We can't hate something simply as the opposite of loving something. That definition is man-made. The closest emotion to love IS hate, so considering it to be the opposite is probably not correct. Think of a time when you were hurt by someone you loved deeply - for a moment, you hated them. Not because you instantly stopped loving them, but because you were hurt by them. You feared being rejected by them, and possibly being separated FROM them.
Satan loved God, but was rejected by God when He tried to consider himself equal to God. Satan, out of his fear and hurt of being rejected by God, is now roaming the earth looking for anyone he can to devour (separate from God) so that he won't be alone. God cast him out of paradise; therefore Satan wants to take others down with him. No, Satan doesn't hate God, he loves God; he was simply rejected by Him.

nope, satan has no power at all except to decieve and to destort the good and happiness in life. this like is about choosing temporal happiness over eternal happiness. the only way to be truly happy is to follow Gods plan of happiness. Satan is here to seek and to destroy our happiness, he has fallen and can never have happiness or gain a body.

Sorry---Free Will is EXACTLY why hate exists...that and peer pressure and politics---but it all boils down to Free Will.
God gave us (humans) the ability to CHOOSE how we behave and react to others and situations. We can choose to be kind and loving or we can choose to behave in a less favorable manner.
Hate arises from one or more people being able to convince/brainwash others into thinking their way...prejudice works the same way.
Education is the best weapon against hate and prejudice. When all children are able to access decent education, they will be taught to think for themselves and not necessarily follow those with whom they do not agree.
So, educate your children to teach them to think for themselves and to consider ALL the facts before forming opinions....then, maybe we'll have a world full of people who actually THINK before they act....better yet....THINK BEFORE THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTHS!!!
