hi..i,m visisting my fiance..in new jersey in november and we would like to get married via cival ceremony and then big wedding ayr later..my question is..i assume i will need passport and birth certificate to marry..but what other documention am i likely to need..? and can my fiance apply for the licence for us both or..or does it have to be joint? also i have a6 yr old daughter whom i will obviously be wanting to move with me so which is the best and quickest route k-1 k-3 or cr-1............its areal minefield iam so lost! help thanks!

My daughter in law is from Indonesia, and she only needed her birth certificate and passport to marry in a civil ceremony. I don't understand the K-1, K-3 or cr-1 question at all. Don't know what those are.
