If you have a history of colon cancer or blood in your stool, get a colonoscopy.. this simple procedure saved my mom's life when she found she had stage 4 colon caner that spread to the liver. She is now cancer free!!!

Had a stage 3 discovered. Safely removed. No trace.

Yes, it is not a pleasant experience but alot can be discovered and treated. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, which hes now been treated. It can recur so I have to have many colonoscopies.

Have had 2. Discovered that I have diverticulosis. Im happy that your mother is well despite the spread. I now have one yearly.

Yes - and it really sux. Make sure to take the medicine they give you. It will make you not remember the incident at all. You will be very happy.

thanks for the reminder..i am due to have a repeat one...soon...the advice of the doctor is to have it every 2-3 yrs...good luck to your mom.
