I have heard that in the last month corrupt officials have been opening the back door to bulgarian citizenship for as little as 87euro. Is this true?

Now about corrupt Bulgarian officials, yes there might be, but how are you going to pass yourself off as Bulgarian if you can't speak the lingo or relate to anything in the country. Sure, you might have a piece of paper but you must convince others.
This corruption only lines the pockets of the officials but you're basically back at step 1.

One would think you have to travel to Bulgaria and apply when you are there, but why would you want Bulgarian citizenship? You've obviously never been there. What I mean is, it's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
