I know it's a request, not a question.

So have at it. Disprove the notion that Muslims all over the world celebrated 911. Explain to me why there are numerous videos of Palestinians and Lebanese dancing in the streets.

Let's hear it.

Good one Ahmad. It's because of greasy scumbags like you that I celebrate every single Muslim douchebag that gets splattered by American bombs. Eat some white phosphorous jerkoff.

Thanks for rationalizing my ideas of hatred of your kind.

What a some people do can't be used as judgement for all Muslims. Don't play into what the media tries to display!!! I attend a Muslim school and today we had a long moment of silence for the victims of 9/11 and their families. I as a Muslim can tell you that I am absolutely disgusted by the acts that took place on 9/11. I have never in all my life met a Muslim who would say otherwise. Don't go by what you see happening in other countries, worry about America. Have you ever seen any American Muslims celebrating in the streets....okay then!!
I actually heard about some Jews celebrating over 9/11 somewhere in Jerusalem, why don't you get on them!

You know.......Do you think that life has gotten easier for any of us since that awful day???? I will never forget, I was in my hijab(scarf) in a Bob Evans, drinking coffeeand letting my son eat his scrambled eggs and fruit (hey he was only one). They had just gotten out the little portable tv from the back and everybody was trying to see. I was seated right next to the table it was on. I went numb. I drove to get my son from school, it was only a few miles from the Cleveland International Airport. There was a rush of parents there.
Anyway.....Like I was saying, Life has been harder since 9-11 for Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds. Think about it, afterwards, how mad were you at "arabs or Muslims"? did you want to shop at there stores, hurt them somehow? When you saw a woman wearing hijab, what did you feel? Though you may not have acted on these thoughts, others have. My Islamic Center was vandalized and not just with paint, with a whole car!!
Another thing that you may want to think about is this, Muslims died that day at the towers too, leaving children and families behind that mourned along with the others affected. Had I and m children been on any of those planes, in hijab and screaming, begging for Allah's mercy, do you think that they would have just stopped? NO!!!
I hate what those terrorists have done. What ANY terrorist has done in the name of any belief is loathsome.
So, if what somebody like Ahmed aggrivates you by asking for the same answers, please understand that a lot of us are sick and tired of being thrown into the prejudiced pot.
I have been threatened, asked for my greencard (lol I may cover but I am in the north with a southern accent that surprises everybody after they hear me yell at the children in Arabic), had a man try to take off my hijab( I was working on my black belt at the time so that was not a good idea) and run off the road. Do I harbor any ill will towards these people? Absolutley not. I pitty their ignorance and pray for them.
Sorry that this is a little long.

OHHH that is so scary!!! Hatred begetts hatred! What do you feel about people who are prejudiced against you for whatever reason that you couldn't help? Your color, belief, sexual preference, background, ancestors??? Anything? Please don't put all Muslims in your pot of hatred. Just becuase less of us were killed ( and we are the minority here) does not mean that we are not equally affected in the same ways! I don't know what else to say:(

Okay, but first I want to hear some Christian condemnation for the Crusades, the Inquisitons, the witch burnings, and the general torturing of unbelievers and so-called heretics which went on for thousands of years in Europe.

Edit: Excuse me? Ahmed was pointing out numerous events in history where white primarily white Europeans and Americans have been responsible for the deaths of a huge amount of Muslims. Why do you ignore this fact? Why do you continue to make racist generalizations and stereotypes?

Christians and Muslims have been killing each other for hundreds of years. There is too much bad blood for the hate to vanish easily.

However, I believe the more enlightened of either the Christians or the Muslims can clearly see that violence is not helping anyone.

1) I'm Muslim and I condemn 9/11, just like the vast majority of Muslim scholars, organizations, institutions etc. throughout the world. Unfortunately, the media prefers not to cover this fact, which leads to people like you thinking, why don't Muslims condemn 9/11?

For example, CAIR, the largest Muslim organization in the U.S., has taken the following actions to condemn terrorism...

A petition against terrorism signed by over 690,000
http://www.cair.com/default.asp?page=not...

Statements against terrorism from leading Muslim scholars and organizations
http://www.cair.com/html/911statements.h...

A Fatwa against terrorism
http://www.cair.com/default.asp?page=art...

A video (public service announcement) against terrorism. It was aired in English, Arabic, and Urdu in various parts of the world, including the Muslim world.
http://www.cair-net.org/video/psa.ram......

Also, CAIR took out a full-page add in the NY Times condemning terrorism after 9/11.

Add to that the hundreds of talks, forums, protests, articles and interviews against terrorism by the over 20 chapters of CAIR nationally.

2) Regarding the videos of Palestinians dancing in the streets after 9/11: There was some footage from Reuters (which went to CNN and many other major news outlets) from East Jerusalem of some people dancing in the streets. It was a very small number of people in proportion to the overall Palestinian population estimated 9,395,000.

I did not see footage from anywhere else, but assuming you did see other footage from after 9/11, again, I hardly think that represents "Muslims all over the world," let alone an entire country's population, as you suggest! For instance, the Lebanese population is 3,677,780--how can 1 video speak for over 3 million people? Or 1.2 billion, for that matter?

That is a gross and harmful exaggeration and YOU should have the burden of proof that even more than 0.01% of the 1.2 billion Muslims around the world supported the terrorist attacks.

This is very irresponsible of you. You should not jump to conclusions, and you should research your statements properly before putting questions like this in the public where it can mislead such a large number of people.

Instead of hearing for the zillionth time some Muslim condemnation of 9/11, I want to hear an APOLOGY from you to the Muslims here. It is not fair for us to answer to the actions of a radical few--they do not represent us, and we should not have to defend ourselves, especially to people like you who don't even have the courtesy of writing politely. Nonetheless, here we are, condemning terrorism over and over, just like everyone else.

So I want an apology. Let's hear it.

P.S. As a Muslim, I have been taught not to insult others, call them names, or use foul language, and that if someone does that to me, not to respond in kind. In fact, Islam teaches that if someone says something hateful to you, respond with KINDNESS. So I forgive you, I hope my fellow Muslims forgive you, and most importantly, I pray that God forgives you. May peace be with you (Assalamu alaykum).
