My girls are getting their pictures taken at Sears in acouple days. I'm always so overwhelmed when I sit down to decide what pics to choose. Does anyone know if there is a recommended size to give out to great-grandparents and grandparents? My hubby & I are both from divorced families & this always costs us a small fortune. Can I just give everyone a wallet size? or should they get 3x5s? or 5x7's?? I'm just trying to be as economical as possible. We have twins too so they always get us by taking super cute pics of them alone. Any tips or advice??
I'm so dreading this but it needs to be done...augh.

Grandparents should typically receive 5x7s, in my experience. 3x5s are good for great-grandparents, and everyone else should be happy just to get a wallet-size. Of course, make sure to order whatever sizes you'd like to keep for yourself, too!

Happy photos. :)

agreed. older the people are, the bigger the picture they get. great grandfolks should be getting 8x12's. regular grandparents should get the 5x7 and parents should get the 3x5, and other relatives like aunts, uncles etc get the wallet sized.

Divorced families? So that means you need to buy two extra pictures. Big deal. You need to buy 5 x 7s for the grandparents. No one else will want pics.

My mom had to decide who would get my graduation pictures. Usually we give the grandparents big picutres, aunts and uncles a little smaller, and then what ever was left I could give to my friends. Just send them out however you want, they should be happy that they are even getting pictures, they will love them anyway.

A 3x5 should be enough for the great-grandparents. They deserve to be rewarded for living long enough to have great-grandchildren!
