Boil chicken bones and armoatic vegetation (garlic for instance), then strain the solids out, and reduced the liquid to a thick tacky paste like substance, then you add various spices to give it a more solid form, salt and whatever else you think tastes good with chicken, just don't overdo it, squish it together let it dry, and viola stock cube.

It's made in almost the same way as a beef Demi Glaze, or any other meat by product like reduction for that matter.

first you boil chicken and chicken bones and herbs, then strain it, then let the water evaporaite, the grit tha lyouare left iwth is chien stock squeeze it into a cube. Now i know this is how you make chicken stock cubes and you asked what is in them, but I figure that, since that is the question I want to answer I will answer it.

Some are mostly salt with artificial flavoring. Others are made from real chicken, but also contain a lot of salt. Whatever flavor of stock I use, I try to choose ones with actual meat in them. Look at the ingredients listed on the label. They are listed in order of amount of the ingredient, therefore the first ingredient is contained in the largest quantity in the product, and so on.
