If so, Why did you stop believing?

I believe in God. That's what we call faith. Think I will always have faith. As a child I believed in Santa. I outgrew that. Everyday we hear things through gossip, news reports, etc which we believe but don't actually see with our own eyes to know any different. I think that's what called blind faith. Sometimes we find out the truth, sometimes not. Somethings we just know it is right to believe without seeing or questioning. We just know. Some people may say they don't believe unless they can see, but I can guarantee that we all have something we believe in without seeing, from religion to feelings to someones version of a story.

Because as we grow we learn and if we are lucky our minds expand, allowing us to tell the difference between reality and fantasy. I can still 'believe' in things I cannot see by using logic, applying science and informed reasoning. It is also possible to measure things which cannot be seen in other ways to confirm their existence. If you question is trying to ask why do some people stop believing in God it is because there is not a shred of evidence to support the theory nor are there any indicating factors to point to any Gods existence.

Never believed in the following: god, Santa, Easter bunny, tooth fairy, devil and such.
Why cause I don't believe in things that don't exist. When I was a little kid I knew that Santa, and the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy was my parents. As for god and the devil I never believed them simply cause the bible was written a long long time ago and was written by men not by god his self so in my eyes its hearsay. Plus there's so many people who try to push their religion on to others when its unwanted so that tells me they must not be too strong in their own faith. I think for my self I dont want nor need someone to tell me how to live my life.

I believe in ghosts as a child. I used to see them in the doorways walking around.

I do believe in God, but I always knew that my friend he invisible giraffe wasn't real, so I didn't technically stop believing in him cuz I never really *did* believe in him.

The radio wave argument works for me, but only because I believe that "God" is something physical that we simply don't understand yet, like quantum physics. I don't believe in the "super natural."

of those things we believed in as children, the only thing that wasn't "stupid" was god. that's why most people grew up and out of believing in the tooth fairy and santa. were we to say that god was stupid and didn't exist, then i doubt many of these people would still believe in him today. it's how you're conditioned when you're younger that makes you who you are and what you believe.

I'd have to say no, I don't believe in things I can't see or prove for myself. I'm a natural born skeptic. I of course exclude things like air, atoms, etc.

No. I do not believe in fair tales and myths. I grew up and learn the truth thru science.
